Hey everyone!
I've previously volunteered for an ARES group in Washington state (Snohomish County ACS/ARES) where I was able to learn a lot and loved working with everyone. I use to volunteer in support of marathons and road bike races. After moving to the Conifer area I volunteered for a while with Colorado 4x4 SAR-ES where I took most of my ICS courses as well as medical/survival/recovery training.
I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting involved!
Cheers!
Robb

Thanks for the info, Robb and welcome! We are a loosely organized group but always looking for experienced people to keep us going. Once you get used to us

, perhaps you would want to do a few Nets as NCS. We also will need people to help with management tasks and eventually be part of the leadership team if that interests you. Also, if you are a weather spotter, you can contact our SkyWarn Manager, Matt Foxhoven, KC0IHA, and he will add you to his contact list. If not a spotter, we plan to have spotter training next year in the springtime. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly at

Thanks, Charlie!
I am not a spotter currently. I missed the training this year being too busy with Colorado 4x4. I am looking forward to taking the courses next springtime though! I grew up over in Nebraska and have always been fascinated with thunderstorms and what makes them tick.
Looking forward to meeting everyone tonight!
Robb
