I'm John Cloyd - a brand new ham radio operator and new resident to Arvada.

My wife and I recently moved here from San Diego to be closer to family.

As part of our new life I joined CERT and ARES in order to help support the community.

I am a life-long "computer guy". Doing everything from programming, to system and architecture design, to project management (both large and small).

Still looking for my computer job here but in the meantime I'm taking advantage of the break to connect with organizations that support community resilience and preparedness.
